Katie Powner lives in rural Montana, where cows still outnumber people. Her passion for red shoes and thought-provoking stories originated with her Grandma Julie, who gave Katie her first pair of red All-Stars and read every ridiculous story Katie ever wrote as a child.
Katie and her husband have been in youth ministry since 2005 and strive to keep their hearts and home open to any child who needs a place to belong. They love being biological, adoptive, and foster parents.
